What About All Those Peaceful Muslims?
The countries in Europe with the largest Muslim populations, also have the highest number of terror attacks. Belgium, France, Germany and Switzerland are hotbeds of Jihad, while Russia and Poland, by comparison, see almost no Islamic terrorist activity.
Could there be a correlation between these two things? Hmm?
If you’re a progressive, probably not. If you’re a normal human, capable of rational independent thought, the correlation is obvious.
This will be the point at which some progressive blogger will make up a list of terrorist activities carried out by Christians, no matter how tenuous the connection might be. This will be followed by rhetorical questions like; “So, you think America is perfect? What about slavery?”
Progressives will always use a similar tactic; deflect attention away from the latest string of radical Islamist mass murders or attempted mass murders by pointing out the sins of America. Not individual Americans, but “America.” If that seems too narrow, the sins of Europeans across the eons will be trotted out as just cause for the anger and disgruntlement of “People of Color.”
In other words, it’s just payback. Get over it White boy and deal with this new reality. That is what London’s new Muslim mayor said in a speech alongside New York Mayor Bill “The Nimrod” Diblasio after the recent string of terror attacks. If not in those exact words, it was close enough.
Yes, to the progressive mind, what one White man does, all White men do.
This same line of logic will never be applied to any other group. You can never say “It was a Black man that killed my brother, therefore ALL Black men are guilty. And, rightly so. Because that really would be racist. But, when it comes to history and White people—what one White man did or does—ALL White people do.
For instance, a meager 2% of Americans owned slaves. That’s it. Unbeknownst to many, large numbers of poor White folk were indentured servants (a form of slavery) with a lower life expectancy than Black slaves. Why? Because they provided cheap disposable labor. By comparison, a slave was a costly investment that needed to be cared for, precisely because of the cost. The life expectancy of a poor Irishman in the 19th century was 19. For a Black slave, it was 34.
A progressive, however, can only see the things that make us different. Not the things that make us the same. Race, sex, class, and gender, these are the raison deter for progressive ideology. Without them, the progressive is just an angry individual in need of a cause to justify their existence.
Meaning, don’t complain about mass Muslim migration, you racist bastard! If a few thousand people are murdered, maybe tens of thousands, even, that is a small price to pay for the glories of multiculturalism.
That is the new religion of the secular progressive. All people are brothers and sisters (or some combination, thereof.) And, you have no right to complain if they kill you and your family while they integrate. Because you are, by default, a racist, sexist, homophobic, Islamaphobic, capitalist scumbag, etc., etc., etc.…
This will be stated as the truth, even as hundreds of millions of people of color attempt to migrate here in the hope of becoming Americans, disregarding completely the racist hellhole that America is alleged to be.
You’d think that progressives might take that into consideration.
