Man Talk, with Donald Trump pt.two

Picture
What concerns some people, I just don’t understand. Liberals in general, but women in particular, are deeply offended by Trump’s misogyny. They feel that the people who defend Trump, just can’t see how offensive his language was. The fact that it was 11 years ago doesn’t matter. There is no statute of limitations on being offended. Of course, only the people who are offended, fail to recognize why we “The people who are unoffended” aren’t offended. Sure, we wish Trump hadn’t said those things. Or, at least, that he had gotten away with saying them. This last statement will cause “The people who are offended” to be more offended. While the rest of us “The people who aren’t offended” still won’t be offended. And here’s why.

Men talk like Trump all the time. They always have. They always will. Men in bars. Men in cars. Men looking at stars. Men near and far—all, talk this way. Just not in front of women. There are a few species of men who don’t talk this way. They will not be easy to find, however.

This is the moment when their wives will turn to them and ask “You don’t talk that way. Do you, dear?” At which point, the woman’s husband will lie and say “No dear. I never talk that way.” And the wife will look hesitantly at her husband for a moment, wondering, “Who is this person sitting next to me?” The answer. He is a man. Not a woman. Probably not some pansy, neutered, postmodern version of a half man half woman, which is the Frankenstein-like creation of the liberal mind. (I recognize that using the words “Liberal and “Mind” in the same sentence will be confusing for some people.)

Anyway. As liberals feign disgust, while ignoring the cesspool that is popular culture—which is overwhelmingly the creation of liberals—the rest of us will simply laugh at their searing hypocrisy. This will not stop these selectively offended children, though. They will parse Trump’s words like proclamations from Satan. The rest—the non-Trumpian-barrage of sickening, pop culture misogyny, and racism—they will studiously ignore. Out of sight. Out of mind, is their motto. Better understood as “Never attack an ally.” And the media, at its very worst, is the left’s unquestionable ally.

This is why the left supports almost everything that is abnormal, using language to pretend that normal, is abnormal, and that abnormal is normal. That speech codes are actually free speech. Or, that high taxes lead to prosperity. That having Uncle Sam choose your light bulbs, how far you can drive, what you can eat, or even choose your doctor, these are actually good things, for a leftist. Including, whether you live or die, which Obamacare will codify into law, simply by controlling the flow of money.

Do I expect liberals to be able to see, what is so obvious to most of us? Not a chance. They will always squint at camels while elevating gnats to positions of power—and they will work vigorously to undermine the greatest culture humans have ever produced in the name of some non-existent utopia. Not unlike their role models, Stalin, Mussolini, Fidel, Che, and Chairman Mao, all of whom were wildly supported by progressives over the decades.

Like I said, I know when to be offended.

Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never harm me.

Ok?

Ok.
