My God! I would hate to be on trial for my life with so much of the public unable to distinguish between actual evidence and hearsay or political propaganda.
Nancy Pelosi goes on a Sunday morning news show and admits, there is "NO" evidence to link Trump and Russia. None. Instead, she does what all politicians and salesmen do, she strings together a series of talking points, with the intention of leading people to a conclusion that favors her agenda. And believe me, all politicians have a political agenda, regardless of their party affiliation.
The media play along, just as they did when Barrack Obama was president. The difference being that FOX News was president Obama's opposition. Trump faces a much bigger nemesis. That being, virtually all of the mainstream press, minus FOX News, and possibly, AM talk radio. After acknowledging there is zero, real evidence for a crime, Nancy Pelosi asks for a special prosecutor to look into the Trump/Putin connection, just in case some evidence turns up.
In the real world, to prosecute something as simple as a traffic violation, evidence is necessary. A police officer can't say, "Listen buddy, you weren't speeding. But, the fact that you were driving a car which is commonly driven by speeders, makes me suspicious. Plus, I heard through the grapevine that you like NASCAR racing. And look at those gloves you're wearing. They scream "I wan't to break the law, while driving real fast!" So, based on these things, I'm giving you a ticket."
That is essentially what the media and democrats have to offer; bullshit! Steaming piles of political bullshit. But, the press has been so relentless in their "Let's get Trump!" agenda, that democrats everywhere are certain of his guilt. The salivate over it. They fondle themselves when thinking about it. They pray to the faceless, godless void, that is their universe, in the hopes of speaking it into being. All by means of hearsay, and nothing more.
Minus the bullshit, here are the facts; president Obama asked the NSA to give him information about Trump gleaned as the result of the NSA's ability to listen to any phone conversation, over any telephone that is a land-line. Or, any text sent by any human, in the whole U.S.A. This was done in the middle of a heated election. Not surprisingly, Obama and crew began spying on Trump once it became clear that Hillary Clinton might be in trouble. And spy they certainly did. Meaning, they admittedly and knowingly spied on the opposition party. And, here's the real kicker; someone within the administration illegally leaked that info to the press.
The sitting president at the the time, Barrack Obama, needed probable cause for spying, which is where the Russia connection comes from, giving Obama and crew plausible deniability.
Now, after months of false stories and cries for a congressional investigation, which could go on for years, probably into the next election cycle, which is their intent, the democrats posses what, in terms of real evidence? Zip. Nada. Zero. Nothing. A literal vacuum of evidence. They have a black hole of innuendo. But not a damn thing more.
But, they always have Russia. Their home away from home. The Motherland for all would-be socialists. For the time being, though, Putin and Russia are necessary scapegoats. Once the Russia conspiracy blows over, the democrats will go back to promoting ideas that good old Karl Marx would roundly applaud. If he wasn't dead, that is. From the grave, however, Marx smiles, saying, "Finally! I will have victory over capitalism! And the democrats will make it so. Good job comrades! Good job!"
Now grow up America. Grow the-hell up.
