Man Talk, with Donald Trump pt. one

Picture
The fact that Trump used the “P” word, and also “groped” women, makes him the populist candidate of the moment.

Although decades have come and gone, back when I was a handsome, young lad, I too, used the “P” word, and I certainly groped my share of women. The reality was, many of these women appeared to like it. If I had been able to, I would have groped many more. But, as luck would have it, I got married, at which point I began to grope my wife on a fairly regular basis. In that sense, hundreds of millions of American men (non-Americans, too) are just like Trump—or wish they were.

Likewise, many men regularly use the “P” word. Have you ever heard a rap record? The “P” word is big in rap, really, really big, in fact. As is the “N” word. The “N” word just might be more popular than the “P” word among Blacks (African Americans.) But, in that case, these heinous words are perfectly fine.

This is not a double standard. It is logic, minus a standard, and is not really logic at all. That doesn’t matter, though, because words and their meaning are used to empower some people, and disempower others. Feminist will go insane should a White man use such words. A Black or Hispanic man, not so much. In reality, both Black and Hispanic men should be angry that feminist hold them in such low esteem. That’s why you have a double standard, because they are viewed as poor, and therefore ignorant, so whatever they do is an authentic expression of an exploited people. Which, apparently, is why they risk life and limb to come to America by the tens of millions.

This is all flagrant nonsense, of course, but leftists believe it anyway, just as they believe it about Muslims. Muslim’s, however, represent a much different problem.

There is no other major culture in the world today that is more misogynist, with a virulent, murderous hatred of gays than you’ll find among Muslims. That’s according to a number of global Pew Research Polls. When it comes to gays, Muslims are nearly universally opposed to homosexuality. That’s a big fat 100%, regardless of which Muslim country we’re talking about, and it is no less true of Muslims living in Western countries. But, still, they are the downtrodden, and, it is wrong to judge the downtrodden. Now, progressives don’t really believe this, since they are in a near perpetual state of condemnatory self-righteousness. Only they seem to have the power to know who to judge and when.

What does this have to do with Donald Trump? If Donald Trump was a Black rapper, a Hispanic from the barrio, a gay, transgender, nolo contender, rodeo clown with a hankering for underage kids, he’d be gold for leftists, as long as he didn’t act on his child fetish, that is. Because progressives have standards. You may never be able to determine what they are, mind you. But they apparently have them. And that more than anything, is why Donald Trump matters.

There are other reasons, but that will do, for now.
