Blue And Green - Urban Art In Miami, (Graffiti)
Miami has been called the city of the future. A sprawling, ever changing, multi cultural environment. Less a melting pot than a linguistically, culturally, religiously and economically diverse doorway to the rest of the nation.
Miami by it's nature encourages either an enticing vision of our future or a polarizing look into the disembling of America. For those who love it, it's an endless smorgasbord of possibilities both good and bad, unpredictable and always fascinating.
All of the photographs were shot in Overtown and the Design District in the heart of urban Miami. Most of the art is done legally by local grafitti artist using only spray paint.
All photgraphs were taken by Cindy and Mark Magula, Music by Miles Davis.

This is a companaion piece to the earlier Blue and Green Urban Art in Miami video. The Miami Design District is in mid town Miami just south of Little Haiti in one of the most culturally diverse section of the city. Featuring some of the priciest interior design shops, art galleries and eateries in the country. All within walking distance of what was only a few years ago the murder capital of the United States and on a bad day still is.
