              "What a Maroon!"

What a Maroon

The U.S. is essentially twenty trillion dollars in debt, but the real issue is the Russia scandal, which is scandalous, not because it’s true, but because it’s so dumb that you have to wonder about the American people. In reality, it’s like bad TV. There’s no plot. It’s ridiculously improbable, and yet, it’s a big ratings grabber.

What about evidence? Former FBI director, James Comey, admitted there was no evidence of collusion, as did James Clapper, the former National Intelligence director. One of the highest ranking democrats, senior senator Diane Feinstein acknowledged there was no evidence, as have other high ranking democrats, when pressed.

What have we got, then? Nearly ten months into the investigation, not a thing. That’s why a special counsel is needed, just in case evidence of a crime does turn up. Meanwhile, we are twenty trillion dollars in debt.

"But, wait a minute!" The Russians did try and hack our election. Isn't that bad?

To this I say “Yea. Whatever.”

The Russians, just like the U.S., are in everybody’s business, and that’s been the case for the better part of a hundred years. The democrats know this. So do the republicans. It’s a matter of historical record. However, neither side thinks the American people know this, and they may not, which is why they keep it going. That way the democrats have the hope of gaining a majority again, and the republicans can stand idly by and do as little as possible. Which is precisely why people like me voted for Donald Trump in the fist place—to break the stalemate between the two parties who bilk the American tax payer of their wealth and transfer it to Washington—who in turn transfer it back to their biggest donors.

Here’s a much darker reality; a few years back, the FBI admitted there were so many terrorist cells at work in the U.S., they couldn't begin to deal with them all. Shortly before Comey was fired, he said that 15% of all terrorist investigations were of immigrants. This is a staggeringly high number, since 1% of the U.S. population is Muslim, and a much smaller number are recent immigrants. Were these Swedish immigrants? No. How about Jewish immigrants? No. But, by all means, halting president Trump’s ban of emigrees from hot beds of Islamic radicalism was a crowning victory against bigotry for the democrats. In fact, it is indisputable that both Hillary and Obama wanted to increase migrants from such war-torn hellholes, even though they couldn't be properly vetted. How do you vet someone when there’s no remaining infrastructure in your country due to war?

All we have to do is look at what’s happening in Germany, Sweden or Brussels to see the effect of widespread immigration from the Middle East. Unfortunately, liberal Americans are too busy being transfixed by the Russian scandal and worrying about political correctness to care about such things, if they've heard of them at all. That's the benefit of having a one-size fits all, left-wing press, minus any competition.

In response to this calamity, European governments are shutting down free speech, should their citizens complain, while punishing hate speech, which means any speech they don’t like. This is Europe’s return to fascism, under the guise of multiculturalism. But it’s the Trump/Russia collusion fiction, which is of paramount importance.

I could go on, for much longer, about the serious problems facing this country. “But wait!” The Russia collusion story is back on TV! Watch as liberal talking heads explode over the latest revelation. Some of Trump’s cabinet members have business in Russia. Hmm? What could that mean? Stay tuned, as we sell a shitload of very expensive adverting.

And then the partisans nod in agreement, “Ain’t it grand, all that money pouring in! You bet! What a bunch of maroons.” They say.

What a bunch of maroons, indeed.
