Voting 3rd Party and the Moral Low-Ground
No one, but no one, would have voted for president Obama if he’d come right out and said, “When I’m president, I’m going to make sure that men can pee in the women’s room, but only as long as they really believe they’re women.” He would’ve been laughed at and ridiculed as a fool, a stooge, a simpleton, and that would’ve been the end of his presidential aspirations! But, after 7 years, with so much faith invested in the man, many of his supporters would rather see the country go down in flames than admit they were wrong. Why? Because everything they believe is at stake. To them, president Obama is more than a man, he’s the living embodiment of their faith. If he is deemed to be a worthless charlatan, then, what are they?
It isn’t simply transgenderism that we’re talking about. It’s about loosing known terrorists from Guantanamo and sending them back home to wreak even more havoc on the world. Newly armed with what are trillions of dollars’ worth of assets, which was a part of Obama’s nuclear treaty (which wasn’t actually a treaty.) Not only will this vastly enrich Iran, it will ensure they get the bomb. Many bombs, in fact.
How about trading multiple high-level terrorists for one American traitor, Bowe Bergdahl, whom the president praised as a war hero, in spite of knowing that it was pure nonsense. Did it matter that Bergdahl got his fellow soldiers killed when he deserted? Apparently, not.
How about Obama Care, that staggering albatross that has done none of what it was purported to do. Millions still lack coverage, including middle-class Americans who can no longer afford the skyrocketing premiums and the huge deductibles. Hell, the only way president Obama sold it in the first place was by outright lying time and again. Dozens of these bald-faced lies were even recorded on video for posterity. The unions and government workers wisely demanded exemption from this legal and medical horror in order to support it. Exemptions for the president, the congress, and the senate, all of whom knew a terrible deal when they saw one, were exempted, as well. But the rest of America simply got the shaft, and the media played along, as they have for just about all of the president's incessant failures.
As if that weren’t enough, terrorism recently hit America hard, while the president does little more than lecture Americans about gun control. That and to be careful not to be bigoted towards our Muslim neighbors. He’s even floated the idea of special protections for Muslims while carving away at our 1st amendment rights, just in case someone says something that offends Mohamed’s (and Obama’s) favored sons.
Hell. I haven’t even gotten to the nearly 20 trillion in debt that the government has saddled Americans with, which has doubled since Obama took office.
How about the most tepid economic recovery since the end of WWII? Yep. That’s Obama’s too, in spite of massive money printing and the lowest interest rates in human history, none of which has done anything but barely raise a faint heartbeat in the American economy.
Everywhere we look, Obama seems to be acting against American interests. But no matter, because the overwhelmingly progressive media act like his personal press agents. Only rarely do they challenge the man. Even then, they do so apologetically. Unfortunately, they do precisely the same thing for Hillary.
Hillary, like Obama, wants to bring in hundreds of thousands of Syrian immigrants into the U.S., knowing that terrorists will infiltrate them, while completely disregarding what the American people want. So, to ease the burden, the media and administration simply collude and lie.
Would they lie for Trump? The question is ridiculous. We all know that they willfully lie and manipulate about Trump, not for Trump. And they do so without regard for the truth. It is, simply put, a partisan farce.
And people want to vote third party?
A third party is a bad joke masquerading as a moral position. One with very real-world consequences. When we are, as a nation, willing to sacrifice our constitutional right to protect ourselves—or, our right to speak freely—to say nothing of the health of our unborn and elderly, in order to take the moral high ground, you can be sure, there is no ground at all on which to stand—moral or otherwise.
