Shootings, shootings, and more shootings, that was the alleged reason behind the city’s dissinsaid event, according to The Miami Herald. Campbell responded with his own philosophical musings about racial issues in a recent issue of The Miami New Times, saying;
“Shit! Just cause we got shootings and shit, don’t mean that urban beach week is bad. It’s only bad if you don't like shootings!” If White people was shooting, wouldn't nothing be said. What about them old West shootings? I guess they don’t count, cause it was White people! I mean, White people got bombs and tanks. Do they ban bombs and tanks at White-people events? That’s some racist bullshit!”
The Miami Herald reported two such shootings last night at Miami’s festive “Urban Beach Week” celebration, where two men were killed. In one incident, a man was murdered over a parking space, and the other, when the police killed one of the perpetrators after a gun battle near Ocean Blvd.. Apparently, many of the revelers thought the blazing hail of gunfire was actually fire works and joined in with their own salvo of bullets to celebrate.
“Overall, it was a fairly uneventful weekend, compared to other Urban Beach Week celebrations" offered a Miami Beach city council member. “From that perspective, It was a great success. This reminds us of how diverse people celebrate together around the world,” He continued. “Such as the recent fireworks display at the Ariana Grande concert in Manchester England, where twenty plus people—mostly teenagers—were blown to bits by a nutjob who was not a Muslims, even though he was clearly a Muslim.”
“I guess fireworks were to blame. We really need to do something about those fireworks!” A CNN reporter responded, adding. “You know who else likes fireworks? Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin!”
At which point the media nodded in agreement. “Donald Trump and fireworks are to blame. I think we’ve found the problem.”
