Trump and Clinton Debate
Trump and Clinton debate tonight. I won’t watch it. I have trouble sleeping under normal circumstances, watching the country dangle by a thread on live TV certainly won’t aid in my slumber. When I get up tomorrow, though, I will read various news outlets, most of which will declare Hillary the winner, even if she says that she visited all 57 states, as Barack Obama did back in his first go-round as a candidate. The media ignored Obama’s error then, they’ll do the same for Hillary. Meanwhile, if Trump so much as misuses a word or two, he will be vilified as a dunce. Fair doesn’t even enter into the equation.
But, no matter what happens, most people won’t change their minds, although some undecided voters may be swayed. The rest, they will take their positions and hold firm. I am one of those who will hold firm unless Trump does something so extraordinary that it can’t be ignored. Even then, I will still probably vote for Trump. Here’s why.
Globalism is the same old disease that has always motivated empires and kings. It doesn’t matter who. America, the old Soviet Union, England, Rome, Egypt, Persia, I could go on, but won’t. Bigger is always better if you’re someone who believes in Empires, such as evil doers, hell-bent on world domination.
Sometimes world domination is motivated by well-meaning peaceniks who believe that the only way to ever have world peace, is for everybody to elect an enlightened and benevolent leader. One who will lead us into a golden age of brotherhood, in spite of ourselves.
To be honest, I’m not sure which is worse. I mean, an obvious evil doer, like the ones in those old James Bond movies are so obvious that there is no mistaking their evilness. This makes it easier to tell which one is most likely to kill millions of people. But, the one who comes, dressed in loosely draped lambskin, carefully covering wolves’ teeth and snout, can be much harder to spot.
Hillary is a globalist, as is Obama. Obama is a big-time globalist whose intentions are good—for the most part—even if those same intentions have to be covered by incessant lies. The question whether his intentions have merit or are the product of a blind ideologue is another matter.
Hillary, by comparison, is an opportunist, a wolf who would sell you down the river for a crack at grandma’s goodies. Her track record of “Pay for Play” as Secretary of State makes that clear, among a long list of other crimes.
Then, there is Trump. Trump really is an unknown, although he's recently made many of right moves, politically speaking. He also seems to have fewer globalist tendencies and believes that America should come first. This attitude is anathema to a globalist and their media cronies. His willingness to attack free trade deals as bad for Americans, is his great sin, according to the globalists. I use to believe the same, and then I looked at what the Brits did with Brexit and their evacuation from the European Union, and why, and my mind changed.
Here’s a very simple thing. Big, centralized government is to individual freedom, what holy water is to a vampire. This is especially true as regards our republican form of democracy. Global government represents even bigger, more centralized government, with bigger bureaucracy, higher taxes, and less freedom. This should be beyond debate if you’re an American with some knowledge of why the constitution restrains the growth and consolidation of power by the government, over the people. Make no mistake, open borders are a part of this, as well, just as it was with the European Union and the British exit from its octopus-like grip.
That is why I will vote Trump. Because Trump is a solid maybe. While Hillary is the final nail in the American coffin, built through the collusion of multinational corporations, banks, and politicians. She is the hammer that will drive the nail. And that is why Hillary must lose. So that this maybe might have a chance to win, and the American people, with him.
What else can I say, but, vote Trump!
