There Were No Spies in The FBI and Other Fictional Tales
Trey Gowdy, a Republican—a very well respected Republican—no less, strongly implied that there was probably, “NO SPY IN THE TRUMP CAMP!” Moreover, Judge Andrew Napolitano, also a Republican and a legal scholar for FOX News said; “The FBI may have acted in good faith and “NOT SPIED! I repeat….NOT SPIED!”
“And then the ground split open, and the heavens separated, as Satan fell to earth and perished—or nearly—because that was hardly the end of the story, contrary to the sounds of rejoicing by the godless media.”
Regardless, the press breathed a sigh of relief, because, deep down, they were scared shitless that maybe, just maybe, this would all lead back to Hillary, and, eventually, possibly even Obama. Furthermore, Trump was wrong about spy-gate, which felt really good after getting smoked constantly by The Donald, which they hated with the passion of a schoolgirl who’d been snubbed by the homeliest guy in town. “What would happen to her reputation now?” She wondered.
Clearly, in this one case, a win is a win is a win, no matter how meager. Which, somehow, seems appropriate for a meager-minded press, as they repeated over and over again; “A petty victory is still a victory. A petty victory is still a victory. Right?”
The press will accept it, too. By God! Any victory over Trump will be rejoiced about, stories will be told around campfires, for generations to come.
“Not so fast,” I say to the neutered masses of media spinmeisters, the ball-less caretakers of the 1st amendment. “Not so damned fast!” The media may momentarily gloat, as they see the worm turn in their favor, but I’m sorry, that doesn’t begin to tell the story. A story that includes the press getting everything else wrong, including the whole, “Donald Trump colluded with the Russians narrative.” In fact, getting it as wrong, as wrong can be. Relentlessly wrong. Hopelessly wrong. Vindictively wrong. Like an obsessive-compulsive fretting over a stray-piece-of-dirt-wrong.
Here’s how: a long time ago, then FBI head James Comey said; we found no evidence of collusion between Trump and Russia. In fact, Donald Trump was “NEVER UNDER INVESTIGATION.” This was said, under oath, by James Comey, before the whole damned world, on live TV, even. This can be viewed on YouTube for your edification. Furthermore, Robert Mueller verified what James Comey said; “PRESIDENT TRUMP IS NOT UNDER INVESTIGATION" by my team of crack Democrats (or was that crack-smoking Democrats?)
“Really? How’s that possible?” I ask. Especially, when you consider that a thousand newspaper articles written by every major news outlet on earth, including both print and electronic media said something completely different. Didn’t they hear, that both Comey and Mueller essentially exonerated President Trump of colluding with the Russians?
Sure they did. But they ignored it. In response, the media continued to talk about nothing else but collusion for a year and a half. And, make no mistake, they will continue to do so.
What about all those “Unnamed sources?" Who were they?
They were FBI agents Comey, McCabe, Strzok, and, at the very least, a British spy named Christopher Steele, by their own admission. Illegally leaking to the press anti-Trump intelligence. This represents the top three FBI agents in the agency at the time, as well as an actual foreign spy, the same one who concocted the fake Russian dossier.
Here’s the kicker, if the dossier wasn’t obviously fake, both Comey and Mueller would’ve had plenty of incriminating dirt on Trump—the man they both exonerated of collusion—indicating that the dossier was clearly faker than hell, otherwise they wouldn’t be able to say that President Trump was never under investigation, much to the chagrin of the press.
But, again, the press will continue to ignore this.
Where does this leave us? Certainly, this doesn’t begin to exonerate the leadership of The FBI, or Robert Mueller, the Democrats, and definitely not the press. It does exactly the opposite, but only if you can separate out what constitutes actual evidence, and what is media driven innuendo.
Where do we go from here? Down a deep, dark well, overflowing with disinformation, muddy water and political sludge as dense as granite. Leading us to the obvious question: why the need for a special counsel? And why, after a year and a half, do we hear that Donald Trump wasn’t really the target of international intelligence agencies, including The FBI, when those agencies had previously implied, in the strongest possible terms, that Trump/Russian collusion was everywhere.
Presently, however, they say; “We were just trying to protect President Trump. We were helping! We weren’t spying! Definitely, not spying! Take our word for it!”
The answer to this troubling question is staring us dead in the face.
“Because they got caught.”
As far as Trey Gowdy and Andrew Napolitano, their perspective is a legal one; “Can The FBI legally justify their actions?” The answer is “Yes.” In legal terms, it’s called plausible deniability, which, in no way proves they weren’t involved in an attempted coup. They just wanted to make it appear legal. And, if not that, they wanted to cripple the Trump presidency before it began, if their attempted coup was unsuccessful. About that, there is little doubt.
The FBI, various Obama era political appointees, and certainly, the media, colluded to undermine President Trump. So, if they really were trying to help the President, they took the absolute most destructive path imaginable, to achieve their goal. You can't have it both ways. Just look at the endless trail of evidence throughout the media over the past year and a half. The pieces of the puzzle are all there, and the truth of it will come out, soon enough
