   "The Manafort Indictment"

Picture
"The Manafort Indictment"

Across the fruited plains, liberals everywhere begin gleefully fondling themselves in response to the Manafort indictment—soon to be a major motion picture—and soon, Trump will be impeached, and Hillary will be president.

“Soon!”

Unfortunately, nowhere in the Manafort indictment is president Trump implicated in anything. In fact, just about all the alleged Manafortian shenanigans took place years before Donald Trump was a gleam or nightmare in the eye of either Democrats or Republicans. But soon, very soon, rats will desert sinking ships, canaries will begin their aria, and order, sweet order, will be restored to America.

Meanwhile, MSNBC, CNN, The Washington Post, and The New York Times, explain the meaning of it all, filling in the considerable gaps in evidence, with inference and innuendo. “Now, don’t believe anything FOX News says,” they say. “They’re biased! If not for them, Hillary would be the 1st woman president!”

Here’s my takeaway from the Manafort indictment, based on what little is actually known;

Paul Manafort—alias Captain Evil—would buy a piece of real estate here in the U.S., then go to a Russian Bank and refinance it for more than the purchase price. This is hardly illegal, having been in the real estate business as an investor, I can testify to its legality. But, in this case, the Russians were involved, and the word “Russia” is a trigger word for liberals. But only as long as Republicans are the ones being implicated. For instance, if John Podesta—Hillary’s campaign manager—took seventy-five million dollars from the Russians in a business deal, that’s OK, because he’s not a Republican. If Hillary signed off on the sale of 20% of the U.S.’ stock of uranium to the Russians, after a staggering donation of $145 million dollars was made to The Clinton Foundation—and, Bill was paid another five hundred thousand for a 30 minute speech in Russia—again, that’s OK—because they’re Democrats. Go read the PolitiFact article on this deal and they’ll tell you, it was probably OK.  And, anyway, the word “Fact” is in the title of their name, and facts can’t be wrong. Because they’re facts!!!!

Here should be your takeaway; whether Hillary took a massive bribe from the Russians and sold nuclear materials to them, in exchange for money or not, she and various members of the Obama administration, signed off on a deal that gave the Russians the necassary material for a whole lot more nuclear bombs, which would then be aimed at America. These are the same Russians that Democrats speak cryptically about when referencing potential collusion by citizen Trump.

My God! These people are dumb!

But let's get back to the Manafort Indictment; Mueller and team, say this was a case of money laundering. Manifort apparently forgot to pay taxes on the profits, which came from Russian banks. Making this, potentially, a case of money laundering. A mortgage is debt, however, and not profit. Therefore, it isn’t taxable as profit. Therefore, it probably isn’t money laundering. The word “Probably,” in my last sentence, will give hope to liberals who cling to any negative verbiage like a life-raft, hoping to snag the presidency from Trump and hand it to Hillary, who was trounced like a worm under heel by The Donald. Plus, the indictment says that Manafort was a “Foreign Agent!” The key word being “Foreign.” Manafort never registered as a “Foreign Agent,” though, which smacks of espionage. And, that, my friends, is illegal!!!!

Maybe.

According to the Democrats, here’s what really happened; Hillary was the Little Train who could--until the evil Trump stole the election. She only had a billion, maybe two billion to spend on her campaign, which came from every misogynistic, fat-cat and oligarch on earth. I mean, she only had the unflinching support of every corporately owned news outlet on earth, as well, except FOX News, those scions of evil. How could poor Hillary be anything other than a victim?!!!

Anyway, the media will stir and stir, just as they have for the past year or more, hoping to wash The Donald right out of their hair, orange-ish locks and all.

Let me apologize for the ancient Broadway Show reference in the last sentence. The gay men will get it, I’m sure. The Democrat’s gay hit-squad may be deeply offended that a straight Republican/Libertarian used a Rogers and Hammerstein musical reference, as the basis of a political joke, though. So let the thunder roll.

What can I say, beyond, the world has been turned upside down. And not a damned minute too soon.

To be continued….

"Viva Las Vegas!"

Sincerely, Fester Bestertester
