The Heated Quest for the
"No Information Voter"

The Heated Quest for the "No Information Voter"

Back when George W. Bush first won the presidency, fraud and “Hanging chads” were the talk of the town. Yes, W. had stolen the election through fraudulent means, progressives said. So, being the loyal opposition, they set out to ensure that it would never happen again.

"There will be no more fraud! Ever again! Not on our watch!” They loudly proclaimed.

And, they held true to their word, making sure that everyone must show an I.D., in order to vote. This became their mantra. Because they loved justice.

As soon as their watch ended with the election of Barack Obama, however, they saw the light, and set out to do away with I.D.’s, because I.D.’s were racist! Apparently, some people were so disenfranchised that to expect that they could actually get an I.D.—at some point in their adult lives—was more than progressives could bear.

“This is akin to the "Southern Poll Tax" of old!” Progressives loudly cried.

This was a not-so-subtle code for African Americans. Although, no self-righteous progressive would say it out loud. Yes, in spite of the fact that African Americans were the wealthiest people of African ancestry on earth, asking for identification was racism beyond the pale.

How the worm had turned, in just a few short years.

Now, you’d think that people would see past this charade. But, low information voters abound. Only to be outnumbered by “No Information Voters.” That was the new mantra for progressives. Load them onto buses and head out to the polls. Hell! One small area of the country just found out that they had more than 2000 people over the age of 110 registered as democrats. That was the value of this new group of “No Information Voters” which was desperately being courted by America’s left-leaning political classes. Let’s face it, you could say almost anything and get away with it.

On this point, the media were largely silent, because Donald Trump had said something outrageous, causing an outrage. Or, so the media kept saying over, and over again.

“How can we expect our new voting class of “No Information Voters” and people who are older than 110 to know how to vote? To say nothing of people who can’t get I.D.—ever, in their whole lives—if Donald Trump keeps saying things that are outrageous?” The media and their progressive allies affirmed.

What happened to justice? You might ask.

It was never more than a word. A slogan to be tossed around to create the illusion of meaning.

And, with that the people said….”Huh?”
