             The Devil's Whisper

The Devil’s Whisper

In every ear, there is a devil, just waiting for the right moment to speak, whispering softly “Pull the trigger. If you pull the trigger, all your problems will be solved.”

Sometimes the devil boldly tells you to place the gun directly to your temple. He knows, however, that this is a much harder sell. So, more often than not, the devil tells you to take aim at your enemy. Whoever that might be, your boss, a bully, even your family.

In times of deep trouble, the devil’s voice gets loud. And, as the trouble continues to deepen, the voice becomes a deafening roar. “Pull the trigger. Get rid of the noise and find some peace!” he growls.

Once the bullet leaves the chamber, though, and, as it finds it’s mark—there will never be another moment of peace. There will be no turning back.

That is the problem of sin. Like a weed it grows, choking out every bit of life until there is nothing left. No peace. No sleep. No reprieve. That’s how devil’s win. You listen to what they say and then act on it.

People will say that devils aren’t real.

I assure you, there is a world filled with devils. One need only look around to see their handiwork.
