The Cult of The Secret Unknowing Marxist
“The Cult of The Secret Unknowing Marxist.”
I fear for this nation. I guess it’s a good thing that The Founders (Those genius bastards) recognized that a true democracy would result in madness, as good people used the velvety-gloved fist of Uncle Sam, to get them they shit. "The People" would say: “Did you see that rich mofo with 80 trillion dollars? We want some of that. Go get it Uncle Sam! Cause, shouldn’t no one have a billion dollars, while some people ain’t even got a dime.”
The People, apparently, did not understand that money was not like water or land, it could be printed, by the truckloads. Five hundred years ago, for instance, there was maybe, $1.95 in the whole world. Today, there’s $25,000,000,000,000 plus. By comparison, the earth is more or less the same size. Because you see, money, filthy lucre, greenback dollars, can grow exponentially, unlike a river or a forest. So, thinking that some faceless billionaire is taking all the money that exists, like a developer building a parking garage on the last green-space on earth, just ain’t so. That billionaire hasn’t taken a thing away from you, Mr. and Ms. Progressive. In fact, their investment—the business that created that billion dollars—is someone’s job. Probably, lots of people’s jobs. This is true whether the money goes directly into a business, if it is invested in the stock market or, it sits in a bank account collecting interest. The money does not just sit, it is invested, making money, and not just for the owner of that money, either. This will be a revelation to most liberals who have no idea how money works, regardless of which avenue it takes: stocks, bonds, bank accounts, it doesn’t matter, the money is working, creating jobs and more money. In the real world of investment, money is like matter and energy, it never just dissipates into non-existence, it changes forms, losing here, gaining there. Your loss, is someone’s win, as it ebbs and flows like a river, a river of cash.
Labor, “Human Capital,” as it’s sometimes called, is a form of money. “But for whom?” you might ask. It depends on who’s controlling the flow of labor. Here’s a simple reality; if the average worker wants rising wages, a better house, more financial security, to send your kids or grandkids to college, or help the poor to be lifted above their circumstance, then, you have to stop flooding the labor market with 3rd world labor. That means low skilled workers, who will work longer and harder for less. That is exactly what our immigration process does, the same as it did 200-years ago. The difference is that the U.S. population was a little more than 5 million in 1800. Today, that number is about 338 million.
The equation is simple; if you have 10 people competing for an entry-level job and you’re hoping to get hired, you’ll have a 1 in 10 chance of getting that job. Double the number of people competing and your odds slip to 1 in 20 and so on. By saving on labor costs, the boss will make more money, and that money won’t be stagnant, it will create more wealth, as well, but it will not go to people at the lowest end of the wage scale, except in a very slow trickle. Especially, if there are more workers than jobs. So, if Americans really sympathize with the workers making minimum wage or slightly more, welfare isn’t the answer, since that will just require more taxes, which enriches the government, not workers, creating a circular problem.
Here’s another simple truth: you also need lower taxes and less regulation. Because regulation is just another tax. Sometimes it’s necessary. Often, it isn’t. You want an example? The taxi industry is a fine example. A taxi medallion/license in New York is more than a million dollars, all due to regulation. Thank God for Uber and Lyft. They represent the power of the free market, which is why you can ride for a fraction of what a taxi costs.
Yes, there are some evil businessmen and women out there, but, let's get one thing straight, evil business-people are microscopic, plankton-like objects, regarding evil-doing, when compared to governments. In the 20th century, people were four times as likely to be killed by their own government, then by a foreign power. Relatively speaking, “Mr. Greed,” the businessman or corporation looks like a speck on the speck on of a fly’s ass. Moreover, let me remind you, it was the entrepreneur, the investor, the inventor, the business person, male or female, who created all that money, by the damned boatloads. And, with relatively little inflation. Do you have any idea how difficult that is?
But let's get real, Mr. & Ms. Progressive, that kind of real-world wisdom and knowledge isn’t even on your radar, which is why progressives get damned-near everything wrong.
“Huh? Who created all that money? The Progressives ask, as they glance furtively, left then right, in a state of confusion.
“My answer?” Certainly not you people! “The Cult of The Secret Unknowing Marxists,” (as they shall henceforth be known.)
Here’s a handy example: In Zimbabwe, the leadership of the country (who were a bunch of Marxist cretins,) like Bernie Sanders and Ms. Ocassio Cortez—destroyed their economy by creating money out of thin air, by government fiat. As the result, they experienced something like 79,000,000,000% inflation. Yes, that number is in the billions, for those who have trouble with zeros. And, I’m not kidding. This, my friends, is what America faces should Bernie Sanders or Ocasio Cortez (or numerous other imbeciles in Leftist politics) do to our noble nation, given half a chance.
“The real problem?”
The sheer number of patriotic Americans who are secret Marxists. So secret, in fact, they don’t even know they're Marxist. More Marxist than Vlad Putin, whom they fear, because “He’s bad….really bad!” a fact that Republicans have been saying about Vlad and his much-worse forebears in the old Soviet Union for 100 years. We said it about Venezuela, Cuba, China, everywhere communism raised a hand, after genocidally murdering 100,000,000 humans over about 7 decades. You’d think progressives would be worried about this new acceptance of Marxism in America. But, not even good, run-of-the-mill Democrats seem to get it, so hypnotized by the bullshit of the mainstream press are they, that they blankly stare when this salient point is made. “Huh???” they say.
Should we be surprised?
The hippies and The Beatles sang odes to the greatest mass murderer in history, Chairman Mao, as did leftists around the world, back in the 1960s. But, at least, the old Marxists in America knew they were Marxists, like Noam Chomsky, for instance. Chomsky likes to call himself a Marxist/Libertarian, a term so oxymoronic that calling it plain old moronic makes a good deal more sense. Not these new kids, or, even some of their parents, including Ocasio Cortez and her intellectual mentor Bernie Sanders. Far too many Democrats/Progressives don’t even know that they are “The Secret Cult of The Unknowing Marxist.”
"I mean, Vlad Putin ain’t got shit on them!"
How do you deal with the dilemma of “The Secret Cult of The Unknowing Marxist?”
You can’t. A person can only learn when they’re willing. When you’re deeply committed to the righteousness of your ideas, however, while also being oblivious to what any of it actually means, I have little hope.
