      The Crime of the Century

Picture
 "The Crime of The Century"

The former assistant director of the FBI, Chris Swecker, recently excoriated former FBI director, James Comey's handling of the Clinton email scandal as being completely out of character for the agency, saying it was not reflective of the agency that he knew.
Initially, Comey called Clinton's actions "Grossly negligent," which is a criminal designation and a felony. However, Comey allowed lead investigator, Peter Strzok, who was Chief of Counterespionage for the FBI, to soften the wording, not only regarding the felonious nature of then, Secretary of State Clinton's use of an unprotected server for keeping classified Intel, but in other places, in his Congressional report, as well.

We now know that Comey had written his conclusion. regarding the investigation, even before the investigation was completed or all the evidence was in. Meaning, he lied under oath to Congress when he stated otherwise, thereby perjuring himself.

Peter Strzok, head of counterintelligence, was the lead investigator on the Russian collusion story, the Clinton email scandal, and the fake, Russian produced dossier, which was handled by British spy Christopher Steele and paid for by the Clintons, to the tune of seven million dollars. Strzok's emails to his mistress (who was also in the FBI) stated that they needed an “Insurance policy” against Trump, just in case he won. It appears that current assistant director of the FBI, Andrew McCabe, may have been a part of this plot as evidenced by Strzok's emails.

While head of the FBI, Comey admitted to leaking classified Intel to the press during Congressional hearings, in an effort to gin up support for a Congressional investigation into President Trump. Comey was also one of the prime "Anonymous" sources, leaking to the press. This was done, in spite of the fact, that Coney and the FBI found no evidence of collusion between Trump and Russia.

So, what was their motive?

Just look back to Strzok’s anti-Trump emails, for the answer, which are available online.
All of this was the basis for Robert Mueller’s special counsel investigation into Russian meddling. Mueller, like Comey, was a former head of the FBI under both George W. Bush and Barack Obama, until 2013 when Comey took over as head of the agency. Comey and Mueller were also close friends, as well as, associates. Furthermore, it was Comey who said that Barack Obama’s Secretary of State, Loretta Lynch, pressured him to change the wording of his investigation into Hillary’s emails, in an effort to soften its impact. This was following Lynch's illegal meeting with Bill Clinton, while the investigation was still ongoing.

As to why Comey would reopen the investigation into Hillary’s email server, just days before the election, if he was really conspiring against Trump, can be found in the media’s near-unanimous polling, which gave almost no chance to a Trump presidency. This would enable Comey to plausibly deny any wrongdoing. And, with a Hillary presidency, he and the others, including Barack Obama, Loretta Lynch, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, and Strzok’s mistress, Lisa Page, would be in the clear. But no longer.

This is just an outline. A verifiable one, I might add, based on what is actually known. The connections probably run much deeper. However, if we use only this basic information, two former heads of the FBI, an assistant director of the agency, and the former head of Counterintelligence for the agency conspired to destroy candidate Trump, and eventually, President Trump, for purely partisan, political purposes. They may have believed they were doing “The People’s” work as a justification, but it is still an attempted coup, no matter how you look at it, and all, will likely go down, as a result, with only Mueller surviving.

What about the Clintons, Lynch, and Obama? They will be much harder to prosecute, but not because they don’t have dirt on their hands and deep under their fingernails. Because, obviously, they do. For now, though, we will see how this plays out.
