The Authentic Pose of a Black White Man

Picture
Another White person posing as an African American has been exposed. Black Lives Matter organizer Shaun King, apparently posed as a bi-racial minority. Like Rachel Dolezal and Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren, he made extraordinary claims about suffering rampant racism from the time he was a child. In King and Dolezal's case, they posed as African Americans. For Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren, it was life and tenure as a would-be Native American.

In all three instances, the evidence suggests that it was to advance their careers. For Senator Warren, it led to a $365,000.00 dollar a year teaching job at Harvard. That was for teaching a single class. She was believed to be a much sought after "Double minority,” a female as well as a Native American. All three similarly made claims about suffering continuous racism from the time they were children. And, in all three cases, those claims turned out to be lies. Not half-truths or misstatements, but, outright, slanderous lies that existed only to advance their personal cause. Maybe these should be adjudicated as White on White hate-crimes. What else would you call the slander of a whole group of people based solely on their race. I think that's unlikely, however.

Remarkably, this has done little to hurt Elizabeth Warren's standing. She is being talked about as a potential Democratic candidate for the White House in 2016. She is also viewed as an ideological standard-bearer for the far Left wing of the Democratic party.

In the end, no one should be surprised by this turn of events. When people advance through hard work and achievement, they will inevitably be forced to work harder to gain access to the upper rungs of success. But, when other factors like race, sex, gender and ethnicity are the means by which people advance, make no mistake, people will labor frantically to find their otherness. So, if the chickens have finally come home to roost--and it certainly seems like they have--they are carefully obscured by sheep's clothing, hiding the wolves, lurking just beneath.
