Secrets and Lies
Here we go again.....apparently, the president negotiated a couple of side deals with Iran, allowing them to monitor themselves at one of their major nuclear facilities.
That's right, they'll be asked "Hey, you guys got a bomb in there? No! OK, glad we clarified that."
These side deals were secret and withheld from Congress. When Obama was asked about it, he said "No way" and the democrats went "OK, sounds good to us" And all was swell.
Think of Obama's famous "If you like your doctors you can keep them" statement, repeated over and over again, on camera, on video, in front of millions of people. Once it became clear that it was a lie, the press just shrugged and said "The republicans are a bunch of fat stupid liars, too. So, president Obama may be a liar, but he's our liar." And the democrats said "You go Obama. You're just lying to the nation for their own good. Besides, he's African American and you can't question him too much, not unless you're racist." And then they snickered to themselves "He he he he."
Here's the thing, were talking about nuclear proliferation in one of the most politically unstable and dangerous places on earth. Were also talking about giving Iran $150.000.000.000 dollars of stimulus money for their terrorists activities around the globe. That will be a drop in the bucket once the renewed profits begin to flow, the result of being able to more freely sell their oil.
If we deal with Iran now, it will be one thing. But, In twelve years, probably less, we'll be forced to deal with an Iran that has a nuclear arsenal, with long range ICBM missiles. And, they will be far wealthier and much, much more powerful. It will be my grandchildren who will be forced to deal with it, though, so maybe I should just accept it and chill.
"I don't think so!"
This leaves me with one final question. "Whose side is the president really on?"
