Radical Islam! What Radical Islam?
After every time, some Islamic nutjob kills a lot of people, the moral equivocating starts. The Left used to wait a day or two, but not any longer. Nowadays they hit the ground running, working like hell to prove that Islamic radicals don’t exist, only right-wingers do.
Now, they don’t really mean that there are no people who identify as Muslims, who do bad things, only that these people aren’t’ really Muslims. These people just don’t know it, though. They think they’re Muslims, but they aren’t, because the people who really know about these things are the people who aren’t Muslims at all, or even religious, or Arab, or have anything to do with Islam, but they seem to know who is and isn’t Muslim anyway.
These people sound an awful lot like apologists for Islamic radicals, but they aren’t, because there’s nothing to apologize for because Islamic radicals don’t exist.
There are guns, however, lots of guns, and the last time they looked it was bullets that killed those people in Orlando, not Muslims. So, if you get rid of guns you’ll get rid of the problem. Of course, there are plenty of other places around the world where Islamic radicals use powerful explosives in lieu of guns to kill infidels, but at least it wasn’t guns, proving their theory correct that it was really the NRA who killed those people. Not non-existent Islamic radicals.
Moreover, it is conservatives who champion the NRA, so it was really conservatives killing all those people. I mean, come on, conservatives apparently hate Gay people and love guns, and it was guns, not Muslims that did the deed. You got that! "NOT MUSLIMS!"
If this sounds suspiciously like circular logic, I assure you, it isn’t. It’s merely logic traveling in an elliptical motion around the circumference of my head….and not Muslims. I hope that helps.
