      Murder in The Meantime

Murder in The Meantime

It is painful to watch this confederacy of dunces. They are led by the nose like dogs. But lack the character of dogs. They can be bought with a meme or a clever saying, even if the saying says nothing much, it creates the illusion of meaning.

A fine example would be the abortion bill offered by Virginia’s governor, allowing abortion up to the point of birth, and, if the mother and doctor confer and decide the baby should be killed, then, the doctor will make the baby comfortable and then kill it or simply allow it to die a natural death, just like a babe abandoned in the woods and left to starve to death.

But, let me be clear, the mother must have Just Cause, such as depression, or an inability to care for the child because of a variety of maladies, thus, ensuring the death of a child.

The state could care for the child, or a parent looking to adopt, after having been placed on a very long waiting list and forced to jump through hoops like poodles in a circus, desperately trying to be a parent to a child. "But, too late!" The baby was murdered in the meantime. Now, let us gather together and mourn the death of whales and dolphins and other species, which is the right thing to do.

Maybe the mother had good reasons. Maybe? Maybe she thought that no Republican would care for the child. Because, apparently, Republicans only care about the rich, not children. And, so, the doctor and mother confer and determine it’s better the state and mother kill the child than grow up in a heartless Republican world where mothers and fathers are expected to care for their children, as they have for a million years, give or take.

Where was the father in this equation?

No one knows. If men cared more, maybe the mother wouldn’t have to kill the child.

It used to be that men and women waited to get married to have children. But that was old fashioned. No one should expect humans to have the same monogamous tendencies as wolves, beavers, and gibbons. Furthermore, a single woman and her child are far more likely to be poor than if she was married, which is why the government must help single women with children.

This tradition of single women with children used to be fairly rare. Not anymore, though. Not since Uncle Sam stepped in and subsidized single motherhood. Since then, we’ve seen an explosion of out of wedlock births, which is what subsidies do, they increase, whatever is being subsidized.

Today, almost 75% of all African American children are born into such circumstances, unlike 100 years ago, when those numbers were far lower. And, not surprisingly, almost half of all African American children are aborted.

Is there a correlation?

Not to this confederation of dunces, who see nothing, hear nothing, and say nothing, as the worst kind of evil grows, right under our noses.

Should we expect more of dunces?

Yes. But don’t hold your breath.
