America vs Satanic Goat Worshipers
America vs Satanic Goat Worshipers
In Arkansas, Satanists erected an 8 ft. statue of Baphomet, a Satanic 14th century goat/man figure that The Knights Templar were accused of worshiping. This was done in opposition to the ten commandments being used in public buildings. Because...let’s face it, what’s the difference between a Satanic goat deity, and the core of an ancient legal code that sits at the center of all of Western culture, and a fair amount of global culture, as well?
To the modern, anti-religious activist, almost all of whom are at the Left end of the political spectrum, there is no difference. Because all religion, apparently, is stupid. And, if Americans want to continue in their cultural and religious traditions, as they have since the founding of this country, to say nothing of much older European cultures, they are going to face the wrath of pseudo-clever activists stirring the pot like all good anarchists, protected by a vehemently Left-leaning, activist court.
So, heck! Why don’t we just get rid of all that ancient history, including civil war statues, offensive books, enact speech codes that reflect a far Left version of global history, and watch the Western world burn? This does not mean that most Democrats are Satanists, mind you. They aren’t. They do, however, share similar ambitions.
“How?” you ask.
Here’s a short list:
1. “Socialism is good.” Even if it’s as far removed from the American founding and Constitution as that goat deity. (and it is)
2. “Higher taxes lead to prosperity, and bigger government is your best pal.” Except, the Founders consciously set out to build a government that severely limited the scope of government and the centralization of power. And they certainly weren’t stupid enough to view high taxes as anything other debt, imposed on the people, by politicians, ruling as an aristocracy.
3. “Religion is the root of all conflict." So, if you get rid of religion, everything will be awesome.” This does not include WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, The Civil War, The Spanish American War, The Cold War, which covered pretty much the whole damned planet. Hell, you could go back as far as the multiple Jewish/Roman wars of 2000 years ago, and you’ll find that colonial occupation, more than religion, was an issue—you know, exploitation, high taxes, military brutality, even slavery, weren’t really about religion. Although, because religion was and is a factor in just about all human culture—since the beginning of time—religion can be blamed. Atheism and socialism, by comparison, gave us a measly hundred million-plus dead, in a short 70 years, give or take. But that wasn’t the “Real” atheism. The one that occupies the imagination of all good atheists. Or, the fictional socialism of their imaginations, which is really cool.
Of course, what I’ve written isn’t particularly nuanced, but it’s a helluva lot more nuanced than that Goat deity, or the arguments on its behalf. The only question left is, can Americans and Europeans save their cultures from the grip of goat-worshiping Leftists/socialists?
I have my doubts.
