A Response to all the Haters
According to FBI director James Comey, there are so many radical Islamic cells at work in the U.S., they can’t begin to track them all. But no worries, because there are also lots of Christian churches at work, too. In fact, there are way more churches than Mosques, so who should I really be worried about? I think the answer is obvious. Why? Because all religion is religious and therefore the same. Southern Baptists and ISIS are basically the same. Didn’t Southern Baptists, not so long ago, believe in segregation? Didn’t Salem burn its witches some three hundred years ago? Didn’t conservatives oppose the transgender bathroom bill, which obviously led to this recent tragedy in Orlando? It takes very little imagination to see how they’re connected. I mean, if we had sane gun laws nobody could get guns because they’d be illegal. Or, at least harder to get. Sure, I know that 98% of all gun related crime is committed by people using guns that were illegally obtained, but it’s that 2% that I’m worried about.
I mean, what’s the difference between radical Islam and the KKK? Nothing in my book. Maybe there’s a couple a hundred million radical Islamists, but hey, there’s at least a few thousand members of White supremacist groups out there. And, believe me, this isn’t moral equivalence.
Sure, radical Islam controls trillions of dollars of wealth, has high-tech weaponry, a very sizable, world class military and, is on the verge of having nuclear weapons, as well, but that’s it. Past that, radical Islam and the KKK are the same.
So, when you look at that radical Mosque around the corner from your kid’s school, recognize that there are haters everywhere, and then you should feel better. Or, at least morally superior, and what could be better than that?
