A Message From Occupy Democrats

A Message From Occupy Democrats:

If the rich don’t pony up their fair share, people will die. Children will starve. Old folks will be forced to live in cardboard boxes. Death will be everywhere—because of the rich—all because of the rich.

In America, no one has a job—because of the rich. If the poor had all the money there would be no more rich people, and then our problems would be solved. Which, technically, would mean that the rich would be poor. Therefore, using my previous logic, the rich—who are now poor—would be responsible for everyone being equal and not-poor. So, I guess I’d better rethink that one.

Greed is responsible for all of the world's problems. Meaning, if we get rid of greed, everything will be awesome. How will we get rid of greed? By getting rid of the rich, who exemplify greed. Then a small coterie of our fellow humans will lead us into the light, where darkness will be banished, except for when people want to sleep because it’s damned tough to sleep when the lights are on. But, make no mistake, this tiny, enlightened coterie of humans will be watching, just in case, greed tries to escape and hook-up with some sneaky rich person.

Just check out some history, and what do you find? Rich people behaving badly. This never applies to the government, however. Or, at least, if it does, it only applies to Republicans, maybe a few libertarians, but that’s it. Otherwise, governments never behave badly, unless you consider the hundreds of millions of people killed by their own governments over the last century. Having said that, if you don’t consider these things, they didn’t happen. Plus, they were probably Republicans, even the ones who were actual Democrats. They were most likely just pretending to be Democrats. I hope that the last statement wasn’t too complex and all.

So, to sum it up; the rich are the enemy, but only the rich people we don’t like. This universal law never applies to us—because us is us—if you know what I mean.

Yes. Just give “Us” all the cash and we’ll decide who gets what, which is only fair. It’s when the tiniest group of people have all the power, all the money, make all the laws, have all the guns, bombs, tanks, flamethrowers and such, that true peace will abound.
